University Sport Institute (USI)

Have you always though you'd like to try Aikido or Capoeira? Learn paragliding? Improve your dancing skills at ballet, breakdance, or salsa? Play football, Frisbee or pool? Trampolining? Windsurfing? You can do all this and more through the University Sport Institute (USI) Graz!

The USI offers more than 350 courses with around 11,000 places – you can be sure there is really something for everyone. You can try out new and alternative kinds of sport, improve your fitness and mobility and also enjoy the social side of sport. The mission of the USI is to promote students’ physical fitness and communication among students. It also sees itself as a place where students and university teachers can take part in shared activities.

I have attended USI courses regularly since I was studying. Now, the diverse selection of sport courses helps me to achieve a good work-life balance. I like trying out new and alternative sports, getting to know other students and staff, and staying physically fit. The good value prices and professional trainers speak for themselves.
