Consultation hours during opening hours and by prior arrangement
Come together! On three floors, the International House offers numerous opportunities to network (internationally) and to study and work together.
During opening hours, the International Lounge, Kitchen and Garden are open to everyone to take breaks and spend their free time together. Additional rooms, such as the International Study & Work Zone, can be booked for study groups and co-working sessions.
If you have any questions about studying, teaching or researching abroad, the International Office – Welcome Center team is happy to provide personal consultation during opening hours and upon appointment in advance.
The rooms are freely accessible during opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Need a creative break? Stop by and hang out! Get to know other national and international students and staff with a round of table football or darts at the International Lounge. Board and video games are also available to pass the time.
Coffee and tea are available in the International Kitchen, which is also big enough to host the occasional cooking session.
The International Garden is also freely accessible during our opening hours. In the spirit of “growing together,” students and staff can meet here to work on joint projects or use their break time to talk with others.
The room is equipped with a whiteboard and multi-socket power strip to ensure perfect framework for productive and creative working. The room is located on the ground floor and can be booked by small groups or individuals. Book the room
The International Seminar Room is ideal for seminars and presentations. The room is located on the top floor and can be booked by TU Graz staff and members of the TU Graz Student Union (HTU Graz). To book the room, contact international. @tugraz.at

In the mood for Spikeball or other outdoor games? Start a game in the International Garden right away, or if desired, the equipment can be borrowed for 1-2 days or over the weekend. Just ask the team!
The International Office – Welcome Center is the first contact point for all questions and concerns about internationalisation.
We love to provide personalised advice and support for students and employees during the opening hours.
You can also make an appointment with the respective contact person so that we can give your individual concerns all the time they deserve.
As the International House does not have a barrier-free entry, we are happy to offer consultations at another location at TU Graz on request.
Still unsure which mobility programme is the right one for you? Do you have questions about financing and scholarship opportunities for a stay abroad during your studies? Drop by our weekly info session, where Exchange Coordinators are available to answer your questions!
The International House is a nice open space to sit and study with friends.
The facilities are nice and give opportunity to heat the lunch in the microwave and to get a nice coffee or tea as a motivation to study. The sofa area also gives the opportunity to relax in the break. The many charging possibilities also makes it very suitable for a bigger group to study together! Overall there’s a really nice vibe to the place, which makes the place feel like a second home.
