The Sustainability Advisory Board is an interdisciplinary team made up of members of the Senate, all faculties, the Student Union, the organisational units of the Rector and each Vice-Rectorate as well as extraordinary members of the Works Councils and the Working Group for Equal Opportunities.
The Sustainability Advisory Board 2.0 networks in the Sustainability4U platform of Graz universities, is active in the Alliance of Sustainable Universities and is a member of the Climate Change Centre Austria (CCCA)
It is also involved in the UniNEtZ cooperation project and the preparation of the Options Report and the Future Building Blocks, in which contributions to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals are developed.
The Sustainability Council also utilises international cooperation with universities, research institutions and companies in the European Sustainable Energy Innovation Alliance - ESEIA
In the Field of Expertise Sustainable Systems, which encompasses all TU Graz research disciplines, TU Graz faces the complex challenges of climate change and conducts interdisciplinary research across faculty boundaries to find sustainable solutions.
TU Graz is aiming for climate neutrality by 2030 - a central flagship project in the area of sustainability. The roadmap with concrete measures shows the way to achieve this. Progress reports regularly document the current status.
