The CSI has the task of acting as a confidential and advisory contact point for members of TU Graz, in particular those involved and the Rectorate, in the event of suspected violations of the principles of good scientific practice. The CSI clarifies cases of suspected scientific misconduct within the university and determines whether scientific misconduct has occurred.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sascha FERZ is Professor for Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Institute of Legal Foundations, Faculty of Law, and Head of the interdepartmental Centre for Social Competence at the University Graz, Austria. His research interests include mediation, arbitration, legal sociology, and administrative law.
Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk MUSCHALLA is full professor and head of the Institute of Urban Water Management and Landscape Water Engineering at Graz University of Technology. He also serves as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and as the Head of the Doctoral School for Civil Engineering Sciences. His research focuses on the integrated assessment, modeling, and optimization of urban water management systems.
Univ.-Prof. Dr.phil. Anselm WAGNER is a humanities scholar with doctorate in art history and has been head of the Institute for Architectural Theory, Art History and Cultural Studies since 2010. His research areas include critical architectural theory and the history of architecture and art since modernism.
Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas HOCHRAINER is Head of the Institute of Mechanics of Materials. Currently Dean of Study at the faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Economic Sciences. In his research he is interested in modelling structure--property reIations for materials with microstructure.
Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. David POMMERENKE is professor at the Institute of Electronics. His research interest is in electromagnetic compatibility. Prior to teach at TU Graz he was faculty member at the Missouri University of S&T in the USA in a similar research area. In 2020 he joined TU Graz.
Assoc.Prof. Dr.phil. Dr.techn. Andreas HAUSER is Associate Professor at the Institute of Experimental Physics, which is part of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Geodesy. His research group is active in the fields of molecular physics, computational chemistry and modelling of materials. Besides his research and teaching tasks, he has been a reviewer for more than 30 scientific journals.
Assoc.Prof. Dr.techn. Barbara SIEGMUND is associate professor for food chemistry and deputy-head of the TU Graz Institute of Analytical Chemistry and Food Chemistry, which is part of the Faculty of Technical Chemistry, Chemical and Process Engineering and Biotechnology. Her research focusses on the quality of food commodities, which specific emphasis on the identification of flavour-active compounds and their formation pathways.
Univ.-Prof. Dr.techn. Franz WOTAWA is Full Professor of Software Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering, and the head of the Institute of Software Technology. His research interests include Software Testing and Debugging, and Artificial Intelligence.
Assoc.Prof. Dr.phil.-nat. Dorothee HIPPLER is researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Applied Geosciences (Faculty of Civil Engineering Sciences) and at the NAWI Graz Geocenter. Within the later institution, she is the head of the NAWI Graz Central Laboratory for Water, Minerals and Rocks. Her research interest deals with various aspects of sedimentary geochemistry.
