Networking Initiatives

Joining a network helps to promote, encourage, support and inspire – and thus makes it easier for you to make a successful start into your professional life. The networking initiatives at TU Graz provide a wide variety of opportunities for you to take part in courses and workshops, attend exciting events, implement innovative ideas – and of course meet lots of interesting new people.

 

AES Student Section Graz

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) is the international professional body for engineers, researchers etc. in the audio industry. The Student Section Graz is a meeting point for students with a passion for professional AE – from recording technology to device construction and psychoacoustics.

BEST Graz

The Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) is a non-political organisation dedicated to promoting intercultural communication between technology students, companies and universities in Europe. Through their work, they allow students to network and gain international experience.

Circle of Excellence

The Circle of Excellence student support association provides students at the universities in Graz with the opportunity to take part in their High Potential Programmes. These programmes focus on teaching motivated students everything they need to be successful in their career.

HTU Graz

The TU Graz Student Union (HTU Graz) represents the general and study-related interests of all TU Graz students. In addition, the student union offers numerous helpful services and organises events and leisure activities for students.

IAESTE Graz

The Graz chapter of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is a volunteer student organisation. In addition to the international student exchange programme, the team is involved in career projects and initiatives for promoting soft and social skills.

As a student management consultancy, icons works for national and international companies and organisations. Students from all Graz universities are involved in numerous projects in the areas of consulting, leadership, communication and start-ups.

IdeenTriebwerk Graz

The IdeenTriebwerk Graz is a student association that brings together founders in Styria and supports them with events, networking, workshops and information. The association aims to shape the start-up scene in Graz in a sustainable manner and raise awareness of entrepreneurship.

IEEE Student Branch Graz

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the largest professional engineering association in the world. The IEEE Student Branch Graz regularly organises events and excursions, providing opportunities for international networking.

 

OVE Young Engineers

The student platform of the Austrian Electrotechnical Association (OVE) organises excursions, events, seminars and national and international networking opportunities. In regular meetings, the platform works on projects and promotes exchange between members.

WINGnet Graz

The WirtschaftsINGenieurstudentennetzwerk (WINGnet) is a network for industrial engineering and management students under the patronage of the Austrian Society of Engineering Managers (WING). WINGnet provides further education opportunities and allows students to participate in conferences.
