Procurement at TU Graz

TU Graz awards contracts in different areas on an ongoing basis and actively promotes good cooperation with (future) suppliers. Current tenders are published via the evergabe.at platform and can be accessed on this webpage. You can also learn more about future procurements and the legal provisions and principles that are related to the awarding of contracts at TU Graz.

Provisions and principles

Federal Procurement Act of 2018

All procurement procedures at TU Graz are subject to the BVergG 2018 (in German: Bundesvergabegesetz). In accordance with the principles contained in this Act, TU Graz only awards its contracts to authorised, suitable and reliable companies. The following principles of public procurement law are upheld at TU Graz:

Sustainable procurement

TU Graz is committed to supporting the "naBe" action plan for sustainable public procurement. In the procurement of products and the provision of services, we consider resource-saving, environmentally friendly and fair production aspects. This includes a consideration of the entire supply chain and environmentally conscious, sustainable and socially fair actions. A commitment to sustainability and associated certifications increases your chances when contracts are awarded:

Social action

TU Graz is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion. We also support equal opportunities and social commitment. When awarding contracts, for example, we consider the:

Unless any alternate conditions are published for individual tenders, the General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing of TU Graz apply to procurements.

Future procurements

TU Graz continuously procures recurring and single supply orders from various product groups and service categories. In addition to the procurement procedures with prior announcement, TU Graz also awards contracts through procurement procedures without prior announcement and through direct awards.
