Bachelor's Degree Programmes

A bachelor's degree is the university-level introduction to a subject. The degree Bachelor of Science (BSc) qualifies you for entry to a master's degree programme.

Master's Degree Programmes

In a master's degree programme you study a selected subject in depth and acquire practical experience. The degrees Diplomingenieurin or Diplomingenieur (DI or Dipl.-Ing.) or Master of Science (MSc) open a wide spectrum of professional opportunities and qualify you to begin doctoral studies.

Teacher Education Programme

The Teacher Education for Secondary Schools (General Education) is subdivided into a bachelor’s and master’s programme. Graduates are qualified to teach their chosen subjects at Secondary Schools. The TU Graz offers the subjects Descriptive Geometry and Computer Science.

Doctoral Programmes

When you work for a doctoral degree, you will build on the knowledge acquired in your master's degree programme and will do research in a specialised subject area culminating in your thesis. With a doctoral degree – Doktor der technischen Wissenschaften (Dr. techn.) or Doktor der Naturwissenschaften (Dr. rer. nat.) you are qualified to carry out research autonomously at universities and in companies.

Continuing Education

TU Graz offers a range of continuing education from short courses leading to a certificate of participation to courses of 1 or 2 years leading to professional qualifications (state recognised, university-level certificates).
