CREATOR (Computational Electric Machine Laboratory), der erste gemeinsame deutsch-österreichische Forschungsverbund in der Förderlinie „Sonderforschungsbereiche/Transregio (DFG) / Spezialforschungsbereiche“ des FWF wird an der TU Graz eröffnet. Die Technischen Universitäten Darmstadt und Graz werden darin künftig ihre gemeinsamen Forschungsarbeiten zur Simulation elektrischer Maschinen vertiefen und vorantreiben.

Als Gastvortragender spricht David Alister Lowther von der McGill University, Kanada, über “The Past, Present and Future of Computational Electromagnetics and Electrical Machine Design”.
