Siemens and Graz University of Technology have been working together successfully for more than ten years. The main focus is currently on the development of new lightweight construction methods in vehicle design, innovative brakes, energy efficiency and new processes in electric welding. This profitable partnership is now to be further intensified, as both sides agreed during a visit to Graz by Siemens CEO Roland Busch.

Specifically, basic research will be reinforced and students will receive even more support from Siemens Mobility experts during their studies. In addition, the establishment of an informal student network will further promote the exchange of knowledge between the university and the company.
