Background
Sarah De Marchi Lourenço graduated in Chemistry (2012) and received her M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry (2015), under supervision of Prof. Marcelo Ganzarolli de Oliveira, at University of Campinas, Brazil. Currently she is a PhD student at University of Vigo, Spain, under supervision of Prof. Jorge Pérez Juste and Prof. Isabel Pastoriza Santos. Her thesis focuses on the design and fabrication of nanostructured materials based on plasmonic nanoparticles and metal organic frameworks (MOFs) for sensing and catalysis. During her stay in the group of Prof. Paolo Falcaro, at Graz University of Technology, Austria, she focused on the preparation and characterization of MOF composites.
