In many European countries, the habilitation is the most advanced university examination. The habilitated person has the right to teach freely at the university and to supervise and assess academic work.Habilitations at the Faculty of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering follow the habilitation process of TU Graz encompassing elements such as a sample lecture and a ceremonial lecture ("HabilTalks") by the habilitation candidates after positive completion of the process.
