Roman Kern works as Ass.Prof. (tenure track) at the Institute for Interactive Systems and Data Science at the Technical University of Graz. He serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at the Know-Center research centre (competence centre for trustworthy AI). Roman's research interests are multi-disciplinary and include natural language processing and machine learning, and a focus on causal data science. He applies these methods to achieve trustworthy AI in fields like digital libraries, intelligent transportation systems, and smart production.
