Laser Vibrometry

For various applications in vibration and fluid flow analysis a Polytec Laser Vibrometer is used including an OVD-02 velocity and an OVD-20 displacement decoder. This system can also be used to trigger the holographic pulsed laser system. The picture below shows the vibration frequency spectrum of a test turbine as recorded with the laser vibrometer. An additional modal analysis had been performed using pulsed laser holography.
