Joint Courses with International Universities: Funding application deadline, 1 July 2024

Lecturers still have a few weeks time to apply for funding for their courses in winter semester 2024/25. Once approved, the programme supports students taking part in a joint course abroad. Lecturers must submit the application by 1 July for the first round of funding.  After this date, if there are spots and funding remaining, lecturers can submit a later application, but least two months before the start of the stay abroad.

Further information can be found on TU4U.  Contact: kerry.johnnoSpam@tugraz.at

Tip for teaching staff advising students about international mobility opportunities:

From 1 June, changes were made to the funding requirements for most self-organised student mobilities, make them accessible to more students.

  • For the Research Abroad, Internship Grant, Erasmus+ Internship and International Conference Grants programmes, the net income limit for Bachelor's and Master's students has been dropped. It remains the same for doctoral students.
  • For the mobility program Summer Schools and Academic Courses Abroad, the net income limit also falls - for students of all study cycles (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate).
  • The maximum funding period for Research Abroad has been slightly reduced (max. 2 months for Bachelor, max. 4 months for Master & max. 8 months for doctorate) and Erasmus+ internships (max. 3 months for Bachelor, Master and doctorate).
