The rapidly increasing immigration into European cities makes building upwards inevitable. High-rise buildings of medium height will become a central building task in the coming years to be able to economically produce the space required for living and working. At the same time, the construction sector must live up to its environmental responsibility and greatly reduce resource consumption and CO2 emissions. For this reason, it is urgently necessary to force the use of biogenic building materials.
