Learn about the FWF's new Open Access policy, current publishing agreements, practical experience and tips on how to avoid dubious publishing practices in this event on 4 December (in English).

Content: Open Access coordinator Franz Pichler will provide information about the FWF's Open Access policy introduced on 1 January 2024, current publishing agreements and services related to Open Access publishing. Dr. Anthony Ross-Hellauer will share his experiences with Open Access publishing.
Finally, there will be an overview of dubious practices in scientific publishing - keyword predatory publishing - and how researchers can react to them. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas.
Students, researchers, teachers and administrative staff, everybody interested in the open activities at TU Graz is invited to join.
