Summer Festival and Exhibition
The Faculty of Architecture at TU Graz invites you to the annual summer party “GRAZ Open Architecture”: exhibitions of student works, live bands, and delicious food await on the Campus Alte Technik on June 30, 2017. It’s also worthwhile taking a look inside the new master studios on the top floor.
Summer, sun and architecture
Entitled “Summer Party and Exhibition - GRAZ Open Architecture 17”, the Faculty of Architecture at TU Graz presents students’ works and projects from the 2016/17 winter and summer term. The dean’s office of architecture, the thirteen institutes of architecture, and the drawing halls invite staff, students, schoolgoers and anyone interested in architecture to take a look at the students’ projects and to celebrate the end of term together on June 30 starting at 11am.
From Park to Attic
Live acts, delicious food, various bars, and prize-giving ceremonies ensure a festive summer atmosphere on the Campus Alte Technik. All institutes of architecture will be opening their doors at Rechbauerstraße 12 and Lessingstraße 25. There will also be presentations in the park and courtyard of the Alte Technik. For the little visitors, for the first time there will be a special programme in the form of a Living Street. Another special highlight: the party will extend right up the roof of the Alte Technik – with initial insights into the newly converted master studios on the attic floor. This year, the exhibition of student works is also open on Saturday after the party, on July 1, from 10am.
The winner of this year’s poster competition is Helena Eichlinger, a student of TU Graz.

Poster Competition
The Faculty of Architecture is looking for creative minds with exciting designs for the poster design of the summer festival and exhibition. Let your creativity run wild and show what you can do. Your design should combine the content of the event as well as the announcement for the exhibition and the summer festival in a poster design.
Submissions can be sent until April 21st, 2017 to graz.open@tugraz.at
The prize, in the form of a €200 book voucher, will be presented on June 30, 2017 during the summer festival.
Conditions of Participation: You are a student in the Faculty of Architecture of Graz University of Technology. The copyright of the image material must be clarified by you or in the best belong to you. The winner of the competition will be contacted after the selection and asked for the availability of further workable files (.ind, .idml, .ai, ...)
A jury consisting of seven representatives of the Faculty of Architecture will make the selection of the winning poster.
