Shreyas Hampali recieved Master of Engineering in Signal processing from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in 2012. He has worked at Qualcomm R&D (India) and Intel India on various topics in image/video processing and computer vision. At Qualcomm Research, he primarily worked on image and display hardware pipelines and developed image processing algorithms resulting in six patents (filed/granted). He is also experienced in fixed-function hardware system design.
Since September 2018, he is a Ph.D student in computer vision under the supervision of Prof. Vincent Lepetit. His primary research focus is on pose estimation of hands/objects from RGB images using Machine learning techniques.
