The IEE participated at the European Energy Scenarios Workshop of the World Energy Council in Tallinn.

The Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation was repesented by Assoc.Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Udo Bachhiesl at the European Energy Scenarios Workshop of the World Energy Council (WEC).

The workshop took place in Tallinn (Estonia) on the 26th of February 2019. The workshop was a next step in a process of developing European energy scenarios that the Council initiated in 2018. It focused on enhancing further regional narratives to 2040, contrasting storylines with modelling indicators and metrics, and further explored the role of disruptive innovation in accelerating energy transition.
