The scenario workshop of the World Energy Council for the European Regional Deep Dive will be held from April 13th to 14th, 2023 at Graz University of Technology.
The World Energy Council regularly publishes the World Energy Scenarios, which analyze possible developments in the energy sector and project their impact on the energy mix in the future. The latest version of the new energy scenarios – expected to be published in 2024 – and their effects are to be broken down to the various regions of the world. To this end, so-called Regional Deep Dives are organized, in which representatives from science and research, the energy industry and energy policy shed light on future developments in the energy sector. The Regional Deep Dive for the European region will take place on April 13 and 14, 2023 at the Graz University of Technology in English. The event is organized in cooperation with WEC Austria, TU Graz and WEC International and with the kind support of ANDRITZ HYDRO GmbH, Energie Steiermark AG, Energie Graz GmbH & Co KG and voestalpine AG.
