The IEE is looking for support for the development of a visualization platform to display data from our LEGO energy system model.

The Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation is looking for a capable and motivated programmer for the (further) development of a visualization platform for displaying data from an energy system model (power plants, lines, load flow data, ...).

Scope of Activity

The existing, web-based visualization platform VISUonline has to be expanded to display the potential of renewable energies. After evaluating the advantages and disadvantages, either the existing platform will be expanded or a new tool will be programmed to present the results of the new LEGO electricity economy mode (see GitHub).

Requirements

• For the further development of the existing visualization platform VISUonline, prior knowledge of ASP.NET, the JavaScript library React, Microsoft SQL and the Microsoft Azure platform is desirable.
• For the eventual development of a new visualization platform, the use of GAMS Miro is being considered. Learning to use this tool must be thought about.
