Lunch seminar with presentations by Efraim Centeno & Salvador Pineda

The IEE invites to a lunch seminar on May 25, 2022 in HSi1 (Inffeldgasse 18) with presentations by Mr. Efraim Centeno ("Energy Poverty") and Mr. Salvador Pineda ("Machine Learning in Power Systems").

As part of a lunch seminar organized by the IEE, two presentations will be given on "Energy Poverty" by Mr. Efraim Centeno and "Machine-learning aided operation and planning of power systems" by Mr. Salvador Pineda.

The lunch that follows is intended to encourage exchange.

Efraim Centeno Hernáez is a research and teaching expert with more than thirty years of experience in electrical power systems and technical and economic analysis of electricity markets. He was Director of the Institute for Technological Research at ICAI (Pontifical University of Comillas) from 2010 to 2016 and is currently Director of the Chair of Energy and Poverty.

Salvador Pineda Morente is currently Full Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Malaga. His research interests include energy system economics and operation, renewable energy integration, energy system planning, optimization, stochastic programming and electricity markets.
