Thomas Klatzer is back from his research stay at Carnegie Mellon University.
Together with Prof. Ramteen Sioshansi and Sonja Wogrin, he is researching the representation of long-term storage technologies - a major challenge for complex energy system optimisation models (ESOMs).
Their research focuses on ensuring unique operating decisions and the efficient modelling of such technologies so that ESOMs with millions of variables and constraints can be solved.
We are very glad that Thomas is back again at our institute with new perspectives and insigths.
