The energy talks in the Orchard 4.0 offered in-depth technical information on the latest developments in renewable energy technology in a unique atmosphere.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, the Birnstingl-Gottinger organic farm in Seiersberg was transformed into a center for expert discussions and innovation on all aspects of renewable energies. From 4 p.m., the event "Energy Talks in the Orchard 4.0" took place here under the motto "In-depth specialist information from science and practice".

This unique event offered an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with experts from various fields and gain in-depth insights into current topics in the energy industry. In the open air, in the middle of the idyllic orchard, an inspiring ambience was created that invited open dialogue.

The participants received in-depth specialist information through presentations and discussions on the latest developments and research results in the field of renewable energies. The exchange with leading minds from science and practice made it possible to speak directly with experts and gain valuable insights.

  • Sonja Wogrin: Head of the Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation, TU Graz.
  • Alexander Podesser: Head of Geosphere Austria.
  • Stephan Schwarzinger: Representative of the Institute for Climate, Energy Systems and Society at JOANNEUM RESEARCH.
  • Wolfgang Raback: Expert for renewable energy communities at Florianiberg.
  • Michael Puttinger: Specialist for international project management at Sekem Energy GmbH.
  • Birgit Birnstingl-Gottinger: Responsible for Sekem Energy and climate and model region management in the Upper Lieboch Valley.
