CIGRE e-session 2020 Symposium

Mr. Udo Bachhiesl and Mr. Robert Gaugl attended the CIGRE e-session Symposium.

The Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation was repesented by Assoc.Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Udo Bachhiesl and Dipl.-Ing. Robert Gaugl at the e-session event of the Conseil International des Grands Réseaux Électriques (CIGRE).

The e-session event took place from August 24th to September 3rd, 2020. The symposium was dedicated to the new global energy challenges that make the power grid increasingly complex. In addition, ways should be shown how these new challenges can be mastered in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 of the United Nations or the Paris Climate Agreement.

During the e-session, Dipl.-Ing. Robert Gaugl presented his contribution "Potentials and systemic aspects for the integration of renewable energies in the North African and Middle East electricity system" and then answered numerous interested questions.
