Award for Michael Puttinger

Michael Puttinger received an award for saving of the environment by economic means of the Egyptian Minerals and Salt Company for his master thesis on wind energy in Egypt.

Michael Puttinger has been honored by the Egyptian Minerals and Salt Company (EMISAL) for his outstanding research of the Feasability of wind power in rural areas of egypt based on the evaluation of an existing wind atlas as part of his Master's thesis at the Institute of Electricity Economy and Energy Innovation.

The award was handed over in the presence of the Chairman and Managing Director of EMISAL Dr. Geologist El Latif El Kordy and local technical partner DI Axel Ceglie Swoboda.

The IEE congratulates Mr. Michael Puttinger.
