Marc Masana

I received my degrees in Mathematics (B.Sc.) and Computer Science (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2014, and my M.Sc. degree (with honours) in Computer Vision from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2015. In 2012 I joined the Computer Vision Center as Support Researcher. I received my Ph.D. degree (cum laude) under the supervision of Dr. Joost van de Weijer and Dr. Andrew D. Bagdanov in 2020. During my PhD I did an internship at KU Leuven with Dr. Tinne Tuytelaars. After a six month post-doc position at the Computer Vision Center, I joined the VLO group in June 2021. My main research interests include deep learning, object detection, network compression and continual learning.
