Mattia received his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Udine in 2020. He then pursued a double degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, splitting his studies between the University of Udine and the University of Klagenfurt, spending one year at each institution. During his time in Austria, he worked at Infineon Technologies in Villach, conducting research for his thesis, which he successfully defended at the end of 2022. In 2023, he spent several months working at Canva (formerly Kaleido AI) in Vienna.
Since 2024, Mattia has been a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision (ICG) at Graz University of Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Fraundorfer.
His research interests include 3D Reconstruction and Deep Learning.
