Darko Štern is currently contributing as an external lecturer at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision on the Technical University of Graz (TU-Graz). He studied Electrical Engineering at University of Belgrade, Serbia and finished his PhD thesis at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2013, he got a Marie Curie Fellowship project hosted by the ICG institute. At the moment Darko is working on medical image analysis related projects in the ongoing collaboration between Medical University of Graz – which is Darko’s employer - and Prof. Horst Bischof at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision. So far he has the following qualifications: MSc, PhD. The research interests of Darko lie in medical image analysis and machine learning algorithms.
