16th International Summer School on Advanced Studies of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells and Hydrogen
Yokohama, 2-7 Sept 2024
The 16th edition of the Summer School on Advanced Studies of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells and Hydrogen was co-organised by Yokohama National University and TU Graz. Held in Yokohama, the event brought together over 70 participants from 15 countries to enhance their expertise and exchange ideas. Renowned professors from Japan, Austria and beyond presented on a wide range of interdisciplinary topics, from fuel cell basics to hydrogen production and application.
The week featured lectures, workshops, and an international poster session where students showcased their research. This year’s program also included a special factory visit to De Nora Permelec, to provide firsthand insights into industrial hydrogen technologies. In addition, attendees had the chance to savor authentic Japanese cuisine during social events, making the Summer School an enriching experience both culturally and academically.
