Studying as a Bachelor Student

In the bachelor’s program Chemical and Process Engineering, you will study industrial processes in which raw materials are transformed into products. These raw materials can include ore for steel production, wood for the production of pulp, paper, or viscose, or wastewater from which harmful substances are removed.

During your studies, you will receive a comprehensive foundational education in natural sciences and engineering, focusing on mathematics, physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Additionally, you will learn the fundamental processes of chemical engineering, which include transformation steps through mechanical, thermal, or chemical methods. You will understand how to describe, develop, and simulate these processes to implement them economically and sustainably on an industrial scale.

Visit the official university webpage for more information.

Opportunities to get Involved

In addition to our lectures and lab courses, you can join us for something more in-depth!

  • Bachelor Thesis
