The prestigious Michael L. Michelsen Award will be awarded this year to Professor Techn. Signe Kjelstrup.
With her research in the field of non-equilibrium thermodynamics, with a focus on minimization of entropy production, electrochemical cell modelling, heterogeneous systems, and nano-thermodynamics, she made an important contribution to her field. The award, formerly called the "Distinguished Lecture on Thermodynamics and Transport Properties", is intended to honor active experienced members of the community. It is awarded by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE).
