32nd European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics 2022

ESAT History

The European Seminar of Applied Thermodynamics was initiated in 1974 by Prof. Helmut Knapp (1923-2009). His intuition led to a close cooperation between industrial experts, experimentalists and theoretical scientists in applied thermodynamics.

The meeting is now held every year except every third year where the world community joins in the Properties and Phase Equilibria for Product and Process Design (PPEPPD) meeting.
