Material tests

Classical material testing is not one of the activities of the LKI.

In the course of new developments and especially new materials (UHPC, cross laminated timber, hardwood, composite materials...) it is often necessary to carry out tests at the scale level of material testing or to develop suitable material tests. These are, for example, tensile tests on carbon rovings, tensile tests on brittle materials (post-fracture behaviour), compression tests on high-strength materials, torsion tests to determine shear strength, adhesion tests.....
