Teaching is more than just part of our work at the Institute of Mechanics. Teaching is something we care deeply about. Helping students grow, ask questions, and think independently is one of the most important things a university can do. In every lecture, lab, and discussion, we aim to support and challenge our students so they can build the knowledge and skills they need for the future. For us, teaching is not only about passing on facts. It is also about encouraging curiosity, responsibility, and a love for learning.

That is why we are truly grateful and excited to be nominated for the Prize for Excellence in Teaching. This recognition means a lot to us and shows that our efforts in the classroom are making a difference. It also motivates us to keep improving our teaching by listening to our students, trying out new ideas, and staying passionate about our work. Being part of our student’s journey is a great honor, and we look forward to continuing this work with energy and dedication.
