Within the Doctoral School Physics, which all PhD students of physics at TU Graz are attached to, organises in a quite regular schedule a DocDay. The purpose of this event is that all members of the Doctoral School have the possibility to meet in an informal setting, discuss new and ongoing projects, and some possible new collaborations in the future.
The backbone of the DocDay are the talks by our PhD students, who are normally presenting the results of their research towards the end of their thesis. Second, there are poster sessions where basically everybody can present some work. In particular, new PhD students are encouraged to present their projects within the first 6 to 12 months of their studies.
For the dates of the next DocDays, please consult the tentative list on the left. The program of the next upcoming DocDay will always given below. Furthermore, we collect an archive of previous DocDays with abstracts, slides, posters, etc.
The next DocDay will be on 27 September, and will be held as an onsite event in lecture hall P2. Talks start at 9:00, and the poster session at 16:00 with open end.
