R&D-projects mainly cover GNSS-based navigation applications focusing on GNSS processing techniques like Precise Point Positioning (PPP) or Real-time Kinematic (RTK) and on integration of GNSS and INS with respect to vehicles: automotive navigation with respect to driver assistance systems and autonomous navigation and precise state (position, attitude, etc.) determination of RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems). In addition, indoor navigation using fingerprinting methods together with WIFI and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) as well as pedestrian navigation (e.g., of blind and visually impaired persons) using dead reckoning are dealt with.
