- Aqueous speciation calculations for advanced users - Insights into geochemical databases (Workshop 3 SSt/KStd 3 ECTS)
This workshop focuses on aqueous speciation calculations and targets to users with fundamental knowledge of this topic that work either in experimental systems or natural aquatic environments at ambient temperatures.
The major tool used is the PhreeqC interactive software. Its thermodynamic databases are critically evaluated using data provided by international organizations such as NIST and IUPAC.
