In the context of the call for proposals for the "Energie- und Elektrizitätstechnik Awards 2020" Lukas Schwalt was awarded the "Österreichs Energie Award 2020" by the Association of Austrian Electricity Companies "Österreichs Energie" Research & Innovation for his PhD thesis "Lightning Phenomena in the Alpine Region of Austria".
