As part of the 2020 IEEE International Conference on High Voltage Engineering and Application in Beijing, China, the entry "Interaction of surface gradient, precipitation rate and conductor surface treatment on corona induced audible noise of ac overhead transmission lines" by Oliver Pischler was awarded the prize for "Best Student Paper".
