The main focus of the research activities of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry is dedicated towards fundamental and applied aspects of organometallic chemistry. The scope of activities ranges from basic research of organo silicon, tin and phosphorus compounds, design of catalysts towards the applications of inorganic and organometallic oligomers, and polymers in the field of functional materials.
The institute is involved in a large number of international and national research activities. Most of our PhD students are part of the doctoral school of “Chemistry and Chemical Technologies”.
