The chemical and process engineering department is an important innovation driver in the fields of process engineering, human technology und advanced materials. It provides a thematic leadership in pharmaceutical process engineering technology in collaboration with the Research Center for Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE), as well as in the fields of process intensification and paper and pulp technology, and in the field of biorefinery.
