The OIPE workshop 2023 will be held on September 17-20, 2023, in Graz on-site with the additional possibility to attend online. It will be organized by the Institute of Fundamentals and Theory in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Information Engineering of Graz University of Technology.

The aim of this workshop is to discuss and share recent developments in optimization and inverse methodologies and their applications to the design and working principle of electromagnetic devices. A special focus will be put on topology optimization and optimal energy system management.

We are pleased to announce the special sessions and keynote speakers of OIPE 2023:

• Special session on Topology Optimization in Electromagnetics 
  Keynote by Peter Gangl, Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics, Linz (Austria)
• Special session on Optimal Energy System Management 
  Keynote by Bharath Rao, Austrian Institute of Technology, Wien (Austria)
• Optimization of Metamaterials in Electromagnetics  
  Keynote by Sławomir Hausman, Technical University of Lodz (Poland)
