SHARE has three objectives. First, emissions caused by individual and public traffic will become an integral part of light signal control optimization at intersections. The second objective is a quantitative survey of pedestrians waiting at traffic lights; they will be considered in signal control, so that waiting times can be minimized as well. Third, Car2X technology will be implemented for driver assistance systems in public transportation, which serves for reducing emissions.
