Jakob wins Heinzel-Mondi-Sappi Award 2019

Our former PhD students and colleague Jakob-Redlinger-Pohn is awarded the prestigeous "Heinzel-Mondi-Sappi Award" in the category "Paper Production, Additives and Coating".

Jakob's awarded work details a new technology to fractionate cellulose pulp. See his break-through paper HERE. Currently, his ideas are expanded by Thomas Schmid (see his follow-up paper), and the group around Stefan Radl is making the process fit for industrial application within the "FLIPPR²" project.
