We investigate the separation of particles from fluids (gas and liquid) as well as acid gas cleaning generally focusing on interfacial phenomena. Main applications are environmental, combustion and treatment/beneficiation technology. In specific, research projects are pursued in the field of NOx abatement, solid liquid cake filtration, and filter cleaning and filter media characterization in the area of gas solid separation. Field and laboratory tests are accompanied with model development and simulations.
