Research at the Institute of Structural Analysis
Research at the institute has its focus on simulations in
fluid and structure mechanics. In most
applications, interfaces play an important role such as those occuring in crack simulations, multi-field problems (e.g. two-phase flows), and multi-physics problems (e.g. fluid-structure-interaction). They require innovative and advanced
numerical methods for the simulation.
