Austria's Energy Prize 2024 for Alexander Konrad

We are delighted for Alexander Konrad, who has been honoured with the Austrian Energy Award 2024!

This prestigious prize is awarded annually to outstanding young scientific talents.

Alexander Konrad was honoured for his excellent master's thesis entitled „Eine techno-ökonomische Analyse zur Klimaneutralität und Unabhängigkeit von ausländischem Gas im österreichischen Elektrizitätssektor" (eng: "‘A techno-economic analysis of climate neutrality and independence from foreign gas in the Austrian electricity sector").

Unfortunately, he was unable to attend the award ceremony in person on 19 September at the Congress Center Villach. On the picture you can see Mr Michael Marketz (Chairman of the Research & Innovation Committee), Mr Michael Strugl (President) and Ms Barbara Schmidt (Secretary General) at the award handover.
