INFORMS 2023 Annual Meeting in Phoenix

Sonja Wogrin, Lia Gruber and Robert Gaugl attended the INFORMS 2023 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.

On the other hand Sonja Wogrin spoke about "Time Series Aggregation in Power System Models." Time series data plays a pivotal role in optimizing power systems, and we are on the cutting edge of research in this area. 

Robert Gaugl presented the results of the START2030 project that was done together with WIFO and CESAR. In the project, we conducted a comprehensive analysis, employing a linked model framework, to assess both the technical and economic implications of transitioning Austria to a 100% renewable power system.
