IEE at the Graz Marathon 2024

Two teams from IEE participated with great success in this year's Graz Marathon. Thanks to intensive preparation, fantastic times were achieved, and the event became a successful team-building experience.

At this year’s Graz Marathon, IEE fielded two highly motivated relay teams. Team 1, consisting of Sonja Wogrin, Beltran Castro Gomez, Robert Gaugl, and Benjamin Stöckl, and Team 2, consisting of Lia Gruber, Simon Malacek, David Cardona Vasquez, and Gernot Hopfer, demonstrated both endurance and team spirit on the course.

Weeks of intense preparation paid off—both teams achieved impressive times and showcased strong team spirit throughout the race. With great enthusiasm and dedication, our runners tackled the 42.195 kilometers, dividing the distance in relay mode. In the lead-up to the event, they trained regularly to improve their fitness and prepare optimally. The training paid off: with personal bests and excellent teamwork, both relays successfully completed the race, proudly demonstrating IEE's team cohesion.
